mValent Integrity software follows the ITIL approach of ‘Design for Production,’ by driving configuration automation across the application lifecycle. mValent Integrity automates the ability to know what assets exist, to control changes to those assets, and to release key updates to those assets in a controlled and safe way. mValent achieves this by discovering and building application-centric configuration models of dependent infrastructure, and leveraging those models to automate key configuration processes for infrastructure supporting critical business applications

Where does the name mValent come from?

In chemistry, valency is a measure of an atom's tendency to stabilize its outermost orbits and how the configuration of that atom enables it to bond with others, thereby creating molecules.

In enterprise IT, mValent is the software company that stabilizes chaotic IT infrastructure environments by automating configuration management with an application-centered approach. This enables IT managers to focus on controlling configuration, change and release management processes for the applications themselves—the larger entity that business owners really care about, rather than the underlying servers and networks.
